On April 30, 2008, the Santa Barbara Committee hosted Minky Worden for a discussion on the Beijing Games and human rights challenges in China, including the crackdown on press freedom, forced evictions, house arrests, and the exploitation of migrant workers in preparation for the Olympics. Minky took questions from the guests and signed advance copies of China's Great Leap.
